I'm not wasting my money on this Cruise film. I do believe it also stars Tim Robbins.

Reading about TC's antics, I can't help thinking, "Wha-a-a-t?" Or rather, "Why?"
Why is TC being so flamboyantly weird? Is he truly a nutjob? Or an aging actor pushing too hard at publicity stunts?
Or is Hollywood so desperate for attention that they're goading this guy on? (Think of Brangelina, which has also been worked to the ground.) Most of the films out now are so bad that the gossip mags are trying to compensate through celebrity overkill. Any kind of coverage will do, as long as Hollywood can keep the waning public interest.

Rule #1 for Scientologists: Don't talk about Scientology.
Rule #2 for Scientologists: Don't talk about psychiatry.
Rule #3 for insane Scientologists: REALLY don't talk about psychiatry.
Rule #4 for Scientologists: See rules #1-#3.
With any luck, Cruise will kill this cult once and for all.

Cruise has said that, as a Scientologist, he doesn't believe in psychiatric medicine. That's because the clambake worshippers don't want psychiatrists peering into their members heads and seeing how thoroughly brainwashed they are.

I actually agree with Tom Cruise. He says psychiatry is a pseudo science and of course it is. It is a crap science for liberal art students able to do a little math and biology. Sort of a medium grade science subject. Better of studying history or Asian foot wear.
Secondly, he correctly noted that psychotropic drugs are over abused masking the true problem. I totally agree....
So he may be a little nutz but a lot less than Lauerer

The guy reads some articles and right away he's an expert on pyschiatry and drug therapy. He can reasonably tell Matt Lauer that Lauer doesn't know anything about the subject, but can he tell that to all psychiatrists and researchers? Drugs save lives in many ways.

What a flake! 'Course, psychology & the lot is a dangerous thing to Scientologists - deprogramming them requires a bit of professional psuedo science to remove the psuedo religion from your loved one's head.

The irony of his dissing psychiatry is astounding.
One of the first things they do to get you "clear" is a deprogramming that is psychiatry in essence.
The mark sits down for hours and talks. And talks. And talks. They are encouraged to tell every aspect of their whole life. It is all recorded and saved.
Their stated purpose is to rid you of all that you have been, so you can be "clear".
But then they have you.
This guy is off his rocker.
