It turns out one site that posted the column, MensNewsDaily.com, added to the bio line on the article the fact that Barber worked for Allstate.

Highly irresponsible of MensNewsDaily, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't see litigation of some sort as well.

I'm glad to know this about Allstate, we'd actually been thinking of switching to them. Think that's probably a no-go at this point.

Dear Mr. Liddy:

Why do you allow your company to discriminate against people of faith? To regain me as your loyal customer you'll need to change your company's anti-faith and anti-family practices. Also you'll need to reinstate Mr. Barber and compensate him for his loss of work and family insurance coverage. An Allstate customer for 20 years I cancelled my auto insurance policy and found a new company. Now, for the moment, I feel like I'm in better hands.

I peronally switched to Safeco - cheaper too. Now, I feel safe and in better hands!
