The Pearl Harbor question is a good one. America was isolationist and strongly so. There was an unfortunate anti-Semetic streak that would have lead us to make them "solve their own problems and not get involved in that part of the world". Sound familiar? Roosevelt wanted in the war badly as did many others. I just wonder if our entrance would have been too late and there would have been no allies.
Worldwide debate won't help Zimbabwe. Mugabe doesn't care. Nobody in power cares.
I don't know what to do. But if something is done to get Mugabe out, you won't hear me saying it was the wrong thing to do.
