This is a little off-topic, but I'm watching Primary Colors on AMC and they just had a graphic while cutting to a commercial equating the characters with Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, James Carville, etc.
I thought that was odd because the filmakers have denied it.
They had to, at the time, to get it made. Of course everyone saw right through that. Or maybe it was tongue-in-cheek. Nobody was believing those denials, were they?
But now AMC can say their commercial is satire and get away with it.
