Right, blame the judges. Why not blame those legislators who use it against us AND have the power to fix it so its right?

Blame both. The legislators, local, state and federal, are supposed to follow the FReeping Constitution. The Judges and Justices are supposed to enforce it when the fomer do not follow it. Both have fallen down on the job. The executive branches, at each level that has a veto, are likewise supposed to follow the Constitution.

The only amendments I really care about are the 1st and 2nd. The rest, eh

Then you should be outraged! The same court ruled that the right to freedom of speech and of the press may be infringed, but only when it really counts. That is, when it's political speech or writing in the period leading up to an election. If it's just common every day porn, or burning the flag, well that sort of press or speech (or expression a term not included in the first amendment) is Constitutionally protect. So say the Black Robes.

Given a chance, they'll gut the second amendment too.

"Folks, this is a local problem, for you, right there in small town American."

That's a bullseye, auntyfemenist.

And CFR pales in comparison to this. You can not pick and choose which rights are important as if it were an ala carte menu. They are all crucial to this (once) great Republic or none are.

We have check deed and title... we own the land that the house came with. The house was partially finished when we purchase it and the builder had problems selling due to the steep windy driveway... house sits 1100' up... view is lovely and the forest is just grand... He didn't get the asking price... since I had the house appraised prior to making an offer... He did accept the offer we gave him plus, after inspection...and water testing it proved that the water had high iron content. Told him unless he pays 1/2 of the cost of whole house filter... I'm backing out of the deal. Needless to say... he accepted.

With this ruling... he can now turn around and bribe the locals... thus, we could loose it for the common good. it would make a lovely park or the Environ-terrorist can insist for the good of the enviro house should be torn down and land perserved. This scenerio can happen thanks to the ruling.

Hell CFR is part of the plan, not a separate item. First they will use Eminent Domain to let Brady/VPC 'buy' all your land and firearms. Then they will amend CFR to be 365 days from a general election. Next, it's off to Durbin's gulags, except real ones for people that resist the liberal socialist agenda.

We live in a socialist state. Get used to it.

YOU get used to it. I intend to fight with every means at my disposal until the day I die. I will never accept a socialist state or the POS that run it. This little ruling by the SCOTUS will prove to be their undoing, we are talking about everyone who owns property in the USA will be at risk, this includes lefties, you will hear screaming about this from everyone! Do you think this only affects conservatives? No way, it is to the detriment of everyone.

Well, given this ruling, I'll wager you'll think twice about trying to be a landowner...especially if you'd like to put your money into low-grade property hoping to build it up.

So long private redevelopment. So long private rehabilitation. So long sweat equity.

As a fortunate renter, all you have to do is make friends with a member of city council (or run for office, youself) and taker over other people's property.

In no time flat you could be a redevelopment landlord

Now that I think about it, I'm going into a new legal specialty more lucrative than ambulance chasing. I'll be a redevelopment attorney.

When I purchased my home years ago, I missed the clause which stated that the land which my home was built on is held by a holding company.

This makes me curious. So all you own is the house itself? Do you have an easement for you to access your building, or can the owner of the land on which it sits capriciously deny you access to your building?

It's not just real estate. It's everything and anything you own that is now in jeopardy.
