They're not offended. They just want payback for the embarrassment they suffered when Dick Durbin halfheartedly caved in.

Well, it seems like the Dogocrats, as usual, can't take what they dish.

I wish that the Republicans would adopt the Dennis Miller approach to Senate business, where he suggested (paraphrased from "The Raw Deal", Chicago 2003) that many of the Senators really can't stand their counterparts, and "'my distinguished colleague' means 'this pr*ck here.'" Oh, but I can wish...

Right on target. I'm old enough to remember an era when most Democrat politicians still supported America more than they supported America's enemies, but clearly the landscape has shifted. I also remember a time when most Democrats supported freedom over Communism, and not the other way around. Nowadays, given a blind test, it's pretty hard to tell whether any given press release was written by the Democrat leadership or by the leadership of North Korea, Iran, or Cuba.

The Democrat leadership should be standing up for what they believe in, waving their hammer-and-sickle flags proudly, and not pretending that they're offended whenever someone of Rove's stature points out the obvious...
