I found that curious also. The many public officials, etc. that were interviewed initially all sounded like a broken record stating what a low crime rate there was in Aruba and just "nothing like this ever happens here" blah blah. Then suddenly this guy turns up necktied (not your average method of murder) in the middle of this so-called investigation of Natalee. Was this a warning to others who have knowledge of Natalee's fate to keep their mouths shut?
That's what made me wonder about the connection. Low-crime rate/then a slit throat murder/midst of Natalee's disappearance/media says no connection that same day/
I question it, like you - warning? or was he involved or knew something?
And now blame his girlfriend? That kind of murder plus dumping it in a cemetery? She would be capable of that?
The way I see it, his girlfriend will take the rap, she has no other choice.
And we will never know anything, no one would dare get too close to this case. I agree w/you - the type of killing was definitely a message.
