I just think that showing up at a family's home at 3:00 AM making demands did nothing but create hostility, it certainly did not help find Natalee. However, going to the family home at 8:00 AM and asking a few smart questions may have been less aggressive and netted better results.
They were trying to find their girl while she might still be alive. It is like an Amber Alert.
The officials all say this...every hour is critical in a search for a missing person who might be in danger. Either you don't get it, or you don't care. There really is no other explanation for the line of attack on this poor family that you have taken.
Toespi,
May I ask how old your children are?
LOL. Oh, c'mon. You don't have children, do you?
If you do, you're either being intellectually dishonest or you're not a very good parent. What parents in their right mind would say, "Oh, gee. My daughter has been missing for 24 hours in a foreign land, but I don't want to be rude and wake someone up so I'll sit here and twiddle my thumbs until 8:00 am."
Having said that, I do understand anyone who says they would get defensive if someone came to their gate in the middle of the night demanding to speak to their son. But, c'mon people, why argue about this little nitpicky detail? We weren't there so we don't really know who was rude first, now do we? It just all depends on who you believe, I guess.
If we're gonna have arguments, let's argue about something a little more substantial!
There. Did I make everyone mad enough to let me in on this catfight? LOL!
