Furman says Joran didn't walk home from the beach, he is privileged young man who wouldn't walk, would call for a ride. He sees father and son as both behaving "privileged",,i.e. entitled, i.e. naricissitic.
Joran is Daddy's alter ego.
Furham said what I've thought all along....joran is a kid w/resources. He phones someone/anyone for a ride here/there/everywhere & at any hour of the day or night.
