from Cozumel.
i thought it was Curacao and that it was to avoid any appearance of impropriety and favoritism towards the arubans, for the very reasons that Howlin mentioned. VDS worked with everyone down there, they need someone who doesn't know him to decide the case.
They are bringing him over from Coracao. It's a neighboring island, very close to Aruba. It has a larger population, and much more industrialized. Maybe they bringing him over because of the high profile this case has taken, especially since PVDS was arrested.
