I keep thinking of this..if you are telling the truth, it makes no difference when they question you. You will be able to answer from the middle, end or beginning. It happened one way. You can't change it, and there would be no need to change it.

If you did a crime, you change it, and eventually you get tripped up...BUT...

If they all KNOW that she is dead and safely taken care of, never to be found, or taken out of the country never to be found, then they can stall and never reveal the TRUTH.

My question is, in that flawed govt. they can't hold them for years. Can they charge for murder w/no body? or do they let them go after allotted time ?

Exactly. And since the first words out of their mouths were lies....well, you know where that leave my suspicions.

JUST SPECULATION

Let's just suppose that he told a lie the first time, then is NOW telling the truth. No one will believe him..it's like the little boy who cried wolf.

Another angle would be that if he confessed and said he dumped her remains in the ocean, they'll think it was duress that made him confess..

The entire situation is not good.

Neenah, under normal circumstance the Aruban gov't would let him go. No body, no evidence of a crime..AND they refuse to give him a polygraph just for kicks and jollies..
