Jug was surprised by NG saying 8 times... might be an exaggeration. Jug even mentioned that he just wants Natalie back (hopefully alive) but even if she's dead, they just want to bring her home.
They're wearing down... I feel so badly for them. Breaks my heart.
Wondering if Charles Croes and the Twittys traced that that cell phone call from coming from the beach area where they stopped and talk to the kids in the car that showed them where Joran lives.
Apparently, a call was made from Natalee's cell. That's my take too.
Exactly right. They are exhausted and want to go home with their daughter one way or another. They can keep their damn "law enforcement" and criminals. I don't think they will ever have to worry about them stepping foot on that island again when they leave. They also won't have to worry about too many Americans going there either if this case is never solved.
I realize they may not have a huge drop in tourists this year but just wait until this is eventually over. Many people didn't bother to cancel their vacation and they are getting people in to help search for Natalee and support the family. Just wait until everyone leaves! I'm boycotting the place.

Could Natalee have called from someone's cell phone?
This is what I've been thinking about today. What if they let him go?
What if he's freed and goes to college in the United States.
Will they take out ads saying, "Come to Aruba, He's Not Here Anymore?"
Will he be welcome at "college" in Florida?
I would think the telephone call was to Natalee's cell phone before she left for Carlos and Charlies. She left everything in her room except her driver's license and a little cash. But it could be while she was at C&C. Either way someone left a message on her cell phone, IMO.
Have you heard anything about van der Straten's contract up or retiring?
I am livid about the lies I heard tonight --- JVDS claims that Natalee was drugging and drinking and that she FELL in front of the Holiday Inn. AND, I don;t believe for one minute that they took he to the lighthouse to see the view! AT NIGHT? No way. That story is another lie. I'd look for her on the opposite end of the island.
The father's advice has me reeling (no body, no crime) and he tried to make nice-nice with his Dutch tv interview -- sorry, he's a flat out liar too and maybe an accomplice.

Her mom said Natalee didn't have a credit card, but maybe she had one without mom's knowledge. Her wallet was in the hotel room with cash and those "crisp ones."
I am erring on the side of her mom --- her mom's word that Natlalee didn't have another credit card and an ATM withdrawal would already be known. I think Natalle and her mom were close.
Right now they are just trying to focus on getting Natalee back and will deal with the other things once they have time to rest and think. Some of the search team are also detectives in their "real lives".
About that lighthouse, remember why Scott Peterson admitted to going to the marina? Because he thought he might have been seen.
I keep wondering why they talk about going to that lighthouse; why not just say they dropped them off at the beach.
Jug cannot believe the interogators haven;t managed to crack one of the boys and neither can my husband, who thinks something is truly amiss with that. Husband wonders whether the boys are truly being grilled.
