I seeriously doubt if the Twitty's have to worry about being run out of Aruba. The Aruban big shots have blown this investigation enough already. They won't be stupid enough to run Natalee's parents off.
The Twitty's hired an Aruban lawyer, too. So they've been helped, if that's the word, through this maze of Aruban law.
Yes. Items should be
showing up to give
clues to her
whereabouts.
The US contacted the Aruban government contacts almost from day 1.
On second though = On second thought
I thought she was referring to the visit she and Greta made to their house.
I agree.
I heard Jug say something about his standing by while that confrontation took place between PVDS and three of J's friends, and that PVDS had told J to say nothing. Someone else said they'd talked in Aruban? Dutch? So Jug probably didn't know everything that was said, and several cops witnessed this, too. The question being, did Aruban LE question their own cops about what was said that night and who said it.
Watching the search guy talking to Greta, I got the most horrible feeling.....At the end, he seemed to break down. Talking about searching the "lake" close to J's home. The dogs alerted to something and they put all the divers in....but says it isn't cleared yet. I feel he thinks Natalee is in there....
You're probably right. Being forced to leave Aruba would really be the last straw.
good points...!
Again it sounds like the Kalpoe brothers were at home to stay and maybe when Joran called at 2:30am, they asked him to try and find another ride home and to call or text back if he did find another ride or they told him he would have to wait and that they couldn't be there any sooner than 3:15 am (maybe after a show on TV ended - who knows)
I think he knows something is in that body of water, too.
That's what I meant. Sorry it wasn't clear.
Can someone tell me the correct spelling of this guy's name so I can do a search? I searched Lexis when it happened but either the spelling was wrong or it just wasn't there. Now I can't find the name at all.
I'm referring to the entire interview of Beth and Jug by Greta.
It could be that the VDS's became hostile from day one after being approached by the Twittys and friends and considered them as those crazy cowboy Americans.
Oh... just pack your bags and move to Aruba! :-P
He also mentioned that it's near the VDS residence.
Yes, the search guy seemed tired and drained and depressed. Well, that comes with what they do. He said he was one of the lucky ones, since they found his daughter and he had the chance to say goodbye. Amazing that these volunteers can do because their hearts have to break every time. But it's doing what has to be done, helping families missing loved ones, etc.. God bless them and hope they find some trace of N.
It could be that PVDS and Joran was on the defensive due to this group of people showing up at their house at 3 a.m. in the morning.
I've never heard exactly how many people were in that 'group' but it struck me as an odd & not too smart way to approach the situation. Of course, any parent is going to very protective of their kid in a situation like that.
