I did not know Paulus was in Holland at all. Remember AVDS said she was there for a celebration. Did Paulus pull a "Mark Hacker" on her and tell her that he passed the Judge exams and that was what the family celebration in Holland was about?

Let me really go off base here...

Maybe Joran is hot headed, because of being abused by his father (a$$ beatings). Let's say PVDS wakes up and finds Joran gone in the middle of the night, this sets him off - he is pissed. Maybe PVDS finds his ATM card is missing from his wallet. He calls Joran on Joran's cell phone. He tells his Dad - I am sorry I was just hanging out with this American Girl on Marriott beach. I will call Deepak to bring me home. Joran calls Deepak to come get him. In the mean time Daddy is on his way to the beach to drag Joran home. Maybe PVDS finds him with Natalee and he starts slapping Joran around on the beach. Natalee steps in and PVDS pushes her so hard that she falls and hits her head, bad enough to kill her. Paulus and Joran freak. Deepak has not shown up yet at the beach so he text messages Deepak not to come he has found another ride. Daddy and Joran hurry up and figure out what they need to do with her body and they remove her from the beach area.

I know this is really reaching, but when I first heard about Joran being hot headed, I first thought that he might be an abused child. (not as in molested)

Maybe Paulus was under a lot stress from not passing his exams. Maybe he lied to his whole family that he did pass them (family celebration in Holland). Then finds Joran has snuck out of the house.

Its been reported that the couple of ladies from NJ mistook Natalee for one of the other students.

Note in post 2123 Natalee was reportedly ill at ease with Joran, and then she leaves with him. Hmmmm, it is only a speculation, but I believe he slipped GHB to her just prior to leaving.

I saw both of Joran's sites up and running. They were taken down the day priot to his arrest. The kid is a party animal. The two brothers were in several of the pictures.

Thanks, GarySpFc. I read some of the middle brothers site and was appalled at the mentality. Gangsta' attitude...don't know if it is still up. As for Joran's sites, who took them down? I don't know how these personal sites are set up nor how they are taken down. These sites (My Place, etc) are real eye openers....and not in a good way. TIA.

i don't recall if it was during greta or when Alan was interviewing someone, a girl was SCREAMING in the background. i am sure it was playful screaming, but Lordy, it happened several times and given the subject matter of the interviews i just found it chilling!

I heard the screaming, too, and although it sounded playful, it was horrifying to hear. Very bizarre television moment.

OK... The Cyper Cafe where Deepak works closes at 20:00 hours (10PM) on Sunday nights.

This matches up with what was written in those emails that were supposely written by Deepak. (Deepak said he got off work at 10:30pm on Sunday night in those emails)

Deepak's and Satish's Mother was right that the Cypercafe closes at 11:30pm (21:30 hours) but that only on Monday thro Saturdays.

I saw Whorealdo. Daddy VDS flunked out his attempt to be a judge. But, I recall that Greta said the other day, when she and Beth met with the VDSs, that Daddy VDS told her he was a judge. Why would he say that if he just flunked his exam?

You have a good point... He had already known that he failed his tests at that point. I wonder if he was trying to pull a "Mark Hacking" on his family. PVDS was in Holland up until Saturday the 28th of May, his wife stayed in Holland until June 1st. (Joran was left at home in Aruba). The reason they were in Holland is because the mother/wife said there was a family celebration there. But PVDS had just found out he failed his "Judge" exams like a week before Natalee came up missing. Exams are done in Holland.

Why all the lies even about his employment position to Greta?

Woke up early and had to check the thread. I'm wondering the same thing, brigette. Greta should do a little digging and find out exactly what the VDS's were celebrating. Of course, they could have gone to Holland for a family wedding, reunion, etc. But it sure would be interesting to know when AVDS found out her hubby flunked his tests.

Do you have any idea if PVDS makes any other kind of living besides 'sitting in' as an occassional judge and studying? Surely he does something else or they've got family money. I doubt AVDS makes enough to support her entire family on a teacher's salary.
