oh thank you brigette. Could Natalee have had someone else's cell phone with her?
OT: Three missing New Jersey boys found dead.
Of course! Three little boys
finding themselves in a dark
& hot place?
They would be screaming and pounding
like crazy out of fear.
My thoughts as well. And why did the parents not check the trunk of the car. If I heard correctly last night the children were missing at least 2 hours before LE was called.
In the driveway? Yes, one would have thought they would have been shouting, kicking, screaming, etc. How did they get put in without raising a commotion? Did they climb in themselves and slam the trunk shut themselves? I doubt that. Geeze what a wierd, tragic, horrible story. Our poor, poor children.
Someone in the know about LE on Aruba said the cops can't force a parent to divulge anything a child has said to him in private, as long as it's one to one. If someone else is dragged into the scenario or knows, then the deal's off.
They do have rental cellphones on the island, but I understand that most US cellphones will not work on the island, so many people rent them and I have not heard that she rented one or had someone elses cell with her.
Some phones can be reprogrammed for international use, it all depends of the cell company. When I go to St. Louis I have to change my calling zone. I have 3 zones on my phone that I can use.
Oh, my, that's really a slap. Joran is busy passing on guilt to his mom. You're absolutely right.
I believe I read in the original article, it was 4 hours before anyone was notified!!!
I could be wrong on this,
but! I think there's
more to this than meets
the eye w/the little boys
shut in the trunk.
Just saw that on the news. Tragic.
I know Verizon is big in Puerto Rico, most people do not have land lines.. I can get cell service there without trouble or reprogramming.
Breaking: 3 missing N.J. boys found dead inside car trunk.
The discussion thread is here...

Even if N had had the phone and it had worked that night, would dialing 911 be the same? Still, it's weird the way all the threads link up. Her phone, thought unusable, used to contact her mom after she's vanished.
I believe I would have lost it at that point.
I think we can all understand why she didn't want to go back for the second interview...
Maybe the kids were simply playing, only how would they have closed the trunk on themselves? Besides, they'd have started yelling, kicking, and banging on the trunk lid, and someone, the mom, would have heard them.
Where is the picture of Freddy?
The prayer card & candle
was the next day when
only Greta went there.
Beth didn't go that
day.
I have Verizon, but I still have to change my calling area (zone) if I travel about 50 miles from my Home calling zone. I have an older phone though and anything beyond 50 miles from my home has me roaming.
Point is she had a decent service, but did not how to reprogram her phone to get it to work in Aruba, but someone later figured out how to do it after she was missing.
