You are probably right. How about the local governments selling the residences to individuals who will turn them into "Historic Bed and Breakfast". The locals can realize various room tax revenues from this. Sounds like a better use to me.

I have a great idea. Why don't the local cities and towns where the 4 justices who voted for this attrocity live declare the justices' personal residences "Museums". These personal residences have a greater value to the public as museums rather than as personal homes. All personal property would have to remain in the residences to maintain the historical integrity of the properties.

Propose to change the judges' homes into condos.
