The suit charges Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt, Assistant Interior Secretary of the Interior for Indian Affairs Ada Deer and Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin with illegal conduct in regard to the management of Indian money held in trust accounts and managed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
If the lawsuit's claims are correct, and there's an overwhelming body of evidence that suggests they are, then the federal government has lost, misappropriated or, in some cases, stolen billions of dollars from some of its poorest citizens.

Jack Abrahamoff is quite the scoundrel, according to every talking head in Washington. Which reminded me of Bruce Babbitt, Bill Clinton, and REAL corruption!! This is one to savor...another walk down memory lane for us old timers, and a point of reference for the newbies. "Everything old is new again..."

Sounds like we got the goods on more Clintonistas. I wonder how long it will take them to turn it around on us, after all everything that goes wrong is Bush's fault.

Nope. The chieftains of america's poorest citizens (and their clans and families) know exactly where those funds are. These are the most crooked, corrupt, third-worldish folks on the planet. If you knew the truth, you'd swear that the rez system in the US of A was Africa.

then the federal government has lost, misappropriated or, in some cases, stolen billions of dollars from some of its poorest citizens. Lookup the "plunge protection team" under Clinton. It's how the market miraculously kept rising. The money came at the right time, in vast and disparate accounts, under the radar. What was the source of funds for the PPP? One can only guess.
