Russia maintains that all three Baltic nations voluntarily joined the Soviet Union. Is that why there were Embassies for the Governments in exile? Recognized Embassies at the Court of St James (London) from the day the Nazi's invaded until they finally got their Independence from the USSR, when it collapsed and became THE Embassies.

It was just a „western” conspiracy against Soviet Union (aka Russia ) /sarcasm
