Fubar? Snafu? Help me out, guys...

OK: The "FU" part of those acronyms stand for something that the admin might pull and ban whoever posts it, but as a euphemismistic illustration, let's use "Fouled Up."
So "SNAFU" would stand for "Situation Normal, All Fouled Up" or "Situation Normally All Fouled Up."
"FUBAR" stands for "Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition."

Snafu means "Situation normal: All fouled up."
Sometimes "fouled" is replaced by "fu@#$d".
I don't know what fubar means. Sounds like the name of a candy bar. Oh, I just remembered, it means "fouled up beyond all repair". Once again, fouled is a euphemism.
