no we still use them and the sr-71s still. They were recently (in the 90s) upgraded with new engines.

I saw a show on the history channel recently about the SR-71 and they said the aircraft is now retired. Mostly due to massive expense. Satellites and UAV spy aircraft are far more practical these days.

I thought the U-2 is now called the TR-1.

SR-71's are still in service... on a commercial flight I sat next to a fellow who's company were refitting the cockpits, wiring and such just days after the 'official' retirement back in the 90's...

They be still flyin'

The SR-71s have all been retired. Last flight was back in late 1999.
