I predict this will "go away" and never be heard about again. The ramifications of actually having a cancer "cure" are huge. The drug industry, the medical industry...huge hit. I don't think the gov't wants a cure, or there would already be one.

by this "logic", everything that can be discovered has already been discovered, and cures for all diseases already exist - thye've just been suppressed by the government-millitary-industrial-pharmeceutical complex!

Free enterprise will take over here. The first company who can market this, assuming it works, will be the largest company in their market. The fact that this has been made public will keep it from being suppressed by anyone. Hell, we FReepers know the name of the virus and what it may do. Now any person with the right skills can look into this.

If this is in fact a cure, it's out of the bottle and won't be easily put back in. If there is real promise to this expect a race to use this, not suppression.
