If it were ideological comfort, then any vocal opposition to any war, would always be treason.

Wars are fought until one side decides to quit. Occasional battles are fought to the last man, and thus no one left alive to quit. But no wars that I know of.

If putting forward a position that encourages our abandonment of the war isn't treason, then I don't know what is.

It would take a lawyer to think otherwise.

The US military "won" the Vietnam war handily in S.E. Asia. But we "lost" it on the streets of America by the treasonous acts of people like Jane Fonda. Nearly two million people are dead, and a couple hundred thousand were truly "tortured" in re-education prisons as a result.

Opposition to a war, after it has been joined, should be Treason.
