Bobby Knight has not been a Boy Scout. His antics at Indiana, and at Texas Tech, put him in a league all by himself.

Regard Hannity, tell me, how does mindless bashing of Hannity help the children of fallen soldiers? It doesn't and it hurts the conservative cause at the same time.

Show me how I have engaged in "mindless bashing" of Mr Hannity. I do not. However I have no obligation to pretend that I like or admire him just because he is a "conservative". how does it hurt our cause? He isn't the only host out there. I can only hope he fades away to be replaced by a more forceful voice for our cause than his mainly ineffective one. And please stop raising the red herring of the "CHILDREN". Many people do as good and better things for the same people. I myself run a non-profit that assists those families with medical bills. I have never mentioned it here. If Hannity mentions it frequently than it smacks of self-promotion.

Curt Weldon is scheduled to appear on the Mike Rosen show sometime between 9am and 11am mountain on 850am KOA radio Tuesday morning June 21st.

From Mike's web page, "Tuesday, June 21st - Kenneth Timmerman will talk about his recent work "Countdown to Crisis." Later, Mike will speak with congressman Curt Weldon."

Click the 'Listen Live' link at http://www.850koa.com/ if you want to tune in live. Mike is one of the better talk show hosts in the country.

It is still the land of possibilities. Just find the right uninhabited niche.

It certainly helped for Bob Grant to get canned by his left-wing Disney-WABC network. Another reason I can't take Hannity...that he replaced Grant at the height of his powers (not blaming him of course), and the interruption really sapped Grant. Since he moved to WOR he is just not the same. It was despicable how WABC treated a legend like Grant.

yep, he does, and obviously it doesn't hurt that you're not watching him. In fact his prime time ratings are close to equal that of CNN and MSNBC combined

Here, Here! Except for the protection thingy. I remember when no one was protected on this board (including JimRob) and the debate was much livelier. One thing the purists don't get is that if every conservative they don't agree with was out-of-business there would be no conservative media at all. The same on the left if only the ulta-liberals were satisfied with media content, they would be the only ones watching. The truth is people like O'Reilly and Hannity engage people like my wife who although she is conservative by nature would fall hook line and sinker for all of whatever comes out of the MSM if it weren't for people like O'Reilly and Hannity.

So tell us, how will the cause of conservatism be advanced with O'Reilly gone?

I didn't say remove him.  Just don't count on me watching him.

That is, don't count on me watching his show unless someone like Ann Coulter is participating....

Excuse me but quite contrary to all the dastardly things you think I've done to poor Bill O'Reilly, all I have done is offered an opinion. I happen to value my own opinion, on most days, over that of the pompous perverted host of a thirty minute tv show. By the way, my wife knows he's a blowhard but loves his letters segment. She also thinks Sean Hannity is dumb but she still likes some of the things he does. She adores Ollie North, who is a REAL American hero. People are funny this way, we have opinions.

On a more substantive note, Bill O'Reilly is EXACTLY like the MSM in that if a woman accuses Bill Clinton of doing something horrible, O'Reilly will look away embarrassed and announce that of course such a thing is a lie, can't be true, doesn't deserve time on his show, etc. Because truly bad things can't be true about "good people."

Could anything be more transparent than O'Reilly's fawning over Hilary to get an interview? he did the same thing with Kerry during the entire election.

A young man in his 20's (my son-in-law) became a conservative and interested in politics becaused he listens to Hannity on the radio. If Hannity is reaching younger generations who are uninformed, it's a good thing. I personally don't listen to Hannity or watch him because, IMO, he's repetitive, but my son-in-law has learned a lot from him.

My email to Bill:

Hello Bill,

Congressman Curt Weldon was a guest on Mike Rosen's show here on KOA 850am in Denver this morning. The topic of you 'banning' him from your show on FoxNews came up. Congressman Weldon mentioned that his staff kept your show staff up to date on why he wasn't able to make the taping for your show. He even tried to contact you directly,
but received no return phone call.

After watching your show last night and listening to Congressman Weldon today on Mike Rosen's show I rate the congressman's credibility at 100% and yours at ZERO on when it comes to his scheduled appearance on your show.

You owe Congressman Weldon an apology at the top of your show on FoxNews tonight!

By the way, you are missing an excellent interview with your childish ban against the congressman. He has complied some excellent information in his book on Iran, Osama Bin Laden, the CIA, etc. that will never see the light
of day in the liberal main stream media.

Later,

Tony

We shall see what the truth of the matter is.

Whatever, Weldon is a loose cannon. Much of his information is speculation, such as his "inside knowledge" of a terrorist attack on a nuclear plant.

His information on the group of terrorists based in Toronto who were planning to attack the Seabrooke Nuclear Power plant was solid from his Iranian source. Curt Weldon came off as an average American doing everything he can to inform the citizens of our country as to what is exactly going on behind the scenes in our intelligence organizations. I for one believe him. I think Mike Rosen of KOA would second that. Too bad the interview was only 40 minutes, but congressman Weldon offered to appear again on Rosen's show.

"Countdown to Terror," Representative Curt Weldon's sensationalistic new book about his personal struggle to combat the Iranian terrorism threat despite the alleged resistance of the CIA, is based entirely on the Pennsylvania Republican's freelance communications with a secret source he code-named "Ali." Much of Weldon's book, which will be released next week by Regnery Publishing, consists of reproduced pages of comically overwrought "intelligence" memos faxed from the Iranian émigré’s Paris location to Weldon’s office between 2003 and 2004.

The rest of the article can be found here.

Weldon's "Ali" is actually Fereidoun Mahdavi, who was completely surprised that Weldon would use him as the basis for a book.

I agree with BOR about 50% of the time. I vehemently disagree with him about 20% of the time.

What does that make me? Friend or enemy?

In this post you offered rational disagreements with BOR.

Why then the need for the earlier personal attacks?
