Mikey's foundational claim of bulimia as definitely the cause of Terri's problems was roundly shot down by the medical examiner that was handpicked by the judge that Mikey seemed to have in his pocket for some reason all along.
Does this mean he has to give back the money from the lawsuit (which I believe held that her bulimia was missed by her doctor, hence the award)?

No. That case was already litigated, and the jury returned its verdict based on the evidence at that trial. I do not know if the defense raised the same arguments that the ME did, but if they did, the jury didnt buy it. It doesnt matter. It just goes to show that this guy's opinions are no more valid than any other expert, except his have been "annointed" due to his position with the county.
