That is my point, in the 30s the western powers, lead by Britain, thought the best way to deal with Hitler's aggression is by an appeasement policy, but all it done was to convince Hitler that he can do more and more and no one will stop him.

I still don't understand why everyone, including Israel, refer to the people as "Palestinians" which is a term related to the former land when it was under British mandate. How odd that the British were also the ones to create a country called Iraq.
