that was Jossy Mansour, editor of El Diario, and i caught part of this AM's interview. he was a little different than when he was on on Fri PM. Cajungirl posted a long article describing all of the criminal activity on the island of Aruba and Cosa Nostra connections etc. The Mansour family was mentioned prominently in that article and this Jossy in particular. If he is criticizing Van Der Sloot, then something has changed. on friday PM on Greta's show with the martha person, he sounded exactly like a mouthpiece for the gov't. If his tune has changed then something is different.
Many small countries have cliques that realy run the place. They try and stay well below the radar...I remember the first time I went to Aruba...late 70's ..one of the things that stands out was the great shortage of rent-a-cars on the island...it was nearly impossible to get a car..Which made no sense, until one realized that the strongest voting block on the island are the Taxi-drivers..
