Joran Van Der Sloot was seen by everyone in "Carlos 'n Charlie's" - and it is impossible that the bar manager did not know who hw was and how old he is - 17 years old -

To me it seems that transferring the 3 to prison will only make questioning them and investigating more difficult

Prison will not loosen their tongues - unless the other two panic - There has been info that their latest stories differed from Joran's - but I thought all that was confidential and could not be released as it would jeopardize the case......

The whole damn case is sickening. I know that Natalee's family has had to hire a local attorney, just so they can get thangs explained to them. Cover -up? You bet. And several people on that God forsaken island know exactly what happened to her and damn them all.

Brigette, again, thanks for starting this thread and providing the incredible collection of links. Not having a chance to check in over the weekend, I may be a bit behind so forgive me if my comment is redundant.

Natalee's aunt was on Fox & Friends this morning commenting on Paul Van Der Sloot. She questions why a father would not have better control over a 17 year old son's activities on a school night. (Apparently Aruban schools were open Memorial Day, the day following the disappearance.) Here is a young boy drinking in bars and out on the town until the wee hours of the morning on a school night and his parents obviously don't monitor his comings and goings. I thought the aunt made an very valid point.

The kid reminds me of a Scott Peterson personality. Right down to the mom saying he was doing yoga! Remember Scott was dong yoga! The dad creeps me out completely. I stilldon't understand how a 17 yr old is holding out so long. You would think a 17 yr old would fold quickly! Thoughts?
