Good grief. The personal sniping here. I don't know what I said anywhere that would justify someone making a sarcastic response implying that I think murder is "just boys being boys."
I've usually enjoyed like your posts, john838, but this time I think you've gone off the deep end.
One time I was the victim of an unfortunate (temporary) incarceration and they had about thirty of us in a small holding cell. For some ungodly reason that I'll never know, they put a girl in the cell for only a few minutes. It was less than a minute I think before one of the men said "let's rape her" and a bunch of the others started grinning and shifting around. I don't know how long it would have taken before they were on her but the cops came back and took her away.
That's an interesting anecdote. But what does it have to do with anything this case? Some men are pigs, sure. Does that somehow make it a fact that all men pigs? Does somehow make it a fact that the three boys are pigs? I don't know what you're getting at.
I'm very sorry... I didn't mean any sort of attack. I was pointing out the attitude of the Aruban officials and their priorities. From our standpoint it's good that PVDS's career is probably shot, but in their eyes whatever happened to Natalie is probably less important than what it's doing to business.
I'm not sure why I related that story really... I suppose to illustrate how close to the surface the animal is in some men.
