This is what the latest we got from a reporter who is known on the island to get confidential info from his friends in the police department.
1. All three guys agreed they left JVDS and NH near the Marriot on that night.
2. JVDS testified that he and NH went for a swim and after that whey walked bak to the hotel, where he walked home and NH to Holiday Inn, which is just a few 100 meters away. Easiest if you walk on the beach, there is a walkway connecting all hotels from the beach area. He insists he left her there.
3. The DJ was suspected because he told an friend erlier that he was asked to use his boat (not the TATTOO) but a smaller vessel to dump something in the sea. That's why when inteviewed he said that he saw the guys leaving the girl at the HI, but when this story came apart, they arrested him the next day.
Then why did they originally say that they left her at the Holiday Inn? And why did they finger the security guards?

They went back to the Marriott? And then he walked home and he left Natalee to walk back to the Holiday Inn alone from there? Interesting that we finally have Natalee going in the water, anyway. (As I think that is where she wound up, sadly.)

If accurate, this guy's story stinks to high heaven. He told a friend he took a boat out to dump "something"? When called in, he verifies an outdated phony story that was floated as a cover by others?

Yikes!! Your report is chilling. When I first saw video of the Tattoo, I couldn't help but wonder if the DJ had access to the small boat that I saw along side the Tatoo. If true, no wonder he is being held. Maybe this is why the FBI is leaving the island. They feel the case is somewhat solved. So sad for Natalee and her family. Still hope this is a rumor and not true.
If the DJ helped dump N's body at sea, you'd think he'd cave and perhaps get off with a slap on the wrist or nothing at all. But so far, it looks as if they all believe that if they hang tight and no body is found, nothing can ever be proved. I wonder if their lawyers mentioned this fact. Like, no body and if you don't talk, you'll walk. Put more discreetly, of course.
