Humor me: what possible difference does it make that Mrs. Holloway didn't go?
I'll step in here to answer that one. I found it curious that, all of a sudden Mrs. H took a pass and was a no-show, holding on to prior info and not wanting to "peer into the dark lookinglass" any further. After all her accusations about the Aruban officials being mum, she becomes mum. That's my take on it anyway.
In reality none, but some will use this as a way to reflect PC bad on Ms. Holloway.
This was an opportunity for the VDS's Family to gain some sympathy for their son/them.
