I thought it was interesting when Greta asked her "were you scared in Aruba", and she said something like "no, not terrible, not to much" and of course Greta didn't follow up on that at all. I expect that what she meant was that it's pretty much open season on hustling the young girls in places like that so a girl (or a guy) has to watch out for the wolves, the dealers, the pimps, the beggars, and the bums, but they're mostly non-violent.... they're mostly ALL not dangerous, but you have to keep your guard up.
But Greta just moved on.

Speaking from experience...lol... albeit a long time ago... island romances are wanted by both tourist and the accommodating island boys/men.
I think there was a mutual attraction and it went horridly bad. Those islands really have an aura of safety especially in the tourist locales.
