Now this is the country that continues to want our tourist dollars but, again, their disdain for Americans (ala...the "we just can't go in their like cowboys" comment) keeps showing. Here is the article - I left the mistakes in, LOL:
"Very early Saturday morning Police was directed to Avenida Alo Tromp near Hotel Baccarat, to attend to a fi ght with use of a fi re arm. Two patrol cars arrived at the scene in a few minutes, and were informed that gun shots were fi red from a car with license plates A- 21124. In searching the area six cartridges were found close to a black pick-up truck parked nearby. A witness said that the driver was in Hotel Baccarat.
The police also spoke with the man D.B., born in Aruba and the lady D.G., born in Colombia. They declared that two young men threatened them with a gun. The young men were 19 year old E.M. born in the United States of America, and 22 year old N.P.
They were immediately arrested and incarcerated for further investigation. Another witness declared that the two suspects gave the gun to a girl in a black car, who left the scene prior to the polices arrival."
Yep, and the day before the front page article was about an AMERICAN expat arrested on a drug charge.
