They were on the beach at the Holiday Inn (sitting around the pool and some on the beach). If Jpran was on the beach with Natalee up by the Marriott then they would have been out view from the Holiday Inn.
Does anyone remember when Jennifer went away to that place for therapy? The first statement that was made was that she was going for "emotional AND physical issues." There was some question about what physical issues. I have always thought that, perhaps, given her now know active sexual history (evidently unknown to her fiancee) she might have had a STD and that is what she did not want him to find out on their wedding night. That might be why they remained "pure" as the fiancee stated.
We will probably never, ever know the truth. She is also a pathological liar, so whatever she says, or is in her book, will not be true.

I think Alana said that she was sitting around the HI pool with some of her fellow students and she could see some of her classmates on the beach near the HI pool. But the people on the beach by the HI did not include Natalee or Joran.

I can't remember if it was Dash (the young lady that was on O'reilly)or another one that stated that they were on the beach until 5:30. It could be some were at the hotel pool and some were on the beach.
There is an article that I will try to locate that states that one of the students noticed another student playing around with someone that was (if I remember correctly) not a member of their party out in the water at the beach in the wee hours of the morning.
I believe this was prior to the search where the panties and duct tape were found.
Yes, I recall some people thinking that. Maybe the first day or so it could have been a question. After that it was apparant it could not be possible, at least IMO. I mean, no money..food..clothing..in a strange country. How could she have pulled that off? Unfortunate that wacky Wilbanks left us that legacy that carried over onto Natalee's case for a while.
I don't know how Alana would know that. She could not positively identify Joran when she and some others were leaving C$C. She stated that Natalee was with a tall black haired guy although she had seen Joran before.
Well, no wonder she came up nil on the Grande Baroque sterling flatware.
I don't know either, but I recall she said this on O'reilly during her very first interview on TV.
