The hydrogen powered car produces only water vapor. But what about the process that seperates the hydrogen from whatever it's bound to?

See post #23 for link....Also Purdue University at the time they were awarded the grant to develop the brakes, had an interesting post....not sure if, it's still there...

You might also be interested in the development of electricity from the fuel cells. Ballard, Fuel Cell from Connecticut and a couple of other companies have a prototype in a couple of large cities (LA is one) where they convert the garbage to electricity.....It's working well. The Connecticut company also has developed hydrogen fuel cells generators, that supply all the electricity to remote facilities.....A couple of resorts have bought them and have saved thousands of dollars in energy costs....Now available for hospitol, hotels, remote rural areas ...No toxic bi-products and IIRC reuse the fuel....for another savings.....In the future to have smaller models for home use.
