They're coming out of the closet and if Canadian secularists don't like it, they can head for the hills.

What's so scary about Christians? They remind everyone that we are sinners, and without Christ's redemption, we are going to hell.

Hmm...so, Christians can be there as long as they refuse to win on any issue that disagrees with liberals? Ha!

"They remind everyone that we are sinners, and without Christ's redemption, we are going to hell."
One correction - "THEY are going to hell."
They like the cute little baby and interpreting the Bible in a humanistic way ... want Christ to be "relative" person and gays want Him to be a homosexual - this they like. They despise His righteousness.

I'm surprised they didn't call out the Mounties to beat the c**p out of those dangerous criminals. In the U.S., they use tanks, sharpshooters, and gas. Followed by fire and NO firetrucks.

Just a thought.

Isn't it interesting how what's stated in the Bible gets a reaction like this?
Saved sinners are not self righteous and smug.
They're grateful and feel sorry for those who are not.
When someone doesn't believe, they will go to hell. It's just the way it is. Belief is a CHOICE!

Exactly.
``Don't ask us to absorb a business that directly contrasts with our moral beliefs,'' said Brett Blankenship, manager of the Wood You Furniture shop, located next to the bar.

Why should a Christian endorse something that is AGAINST their beliefs ?
Doesn't make sense to me ... .
Unless it makes the unsaved feel better?
Gee, that leads us back to square one.
The beliefs of a Christian are not the same as those who chose NOT to be Christians. Oh well ... .

"VALRICO - More than 800 people crowded into a local church Tuesday night to give Hillsborough County a message: adult uses and bars with scantily clad dancers are unwelcome here.
They urged county commissioners to stop a bikini bar from opening at State Road 60 and Mount Carmel Road. While vowing to continue battling the bar, they conceded that county law allows such a use.
Still, they said, they want the laws changed to prohibit such businesses from moving into other family-oriented areas. "
Have in YOUR neighborhood.
Have in YOUR house.
Christians don't want this in their neighborhood around their families.
Nothing wrong with that.
Perhaps YOU are the one with the problem?

Since that article was in mid-May, did, or has, the county government reached a decision to permit the bikini bar to open?

There is a backlash against Christian involvement with government. YOU (and those in the article) are a good example of why.
