Burst bag costs bikers £10,500
Motorists on a busy motorway could not believe their eyes when they drove into a cloud of money.
Two unlucky motorcyclists lost £10,500 in cash when their rucksack burst on the M3, near Winchester.
Drivers stopped on the hard shoulder to help the distraught motorcyclists gather the £20 notes, reports the Guardian.
But strong winds quickly blew them across both carriageways and only £500 of the £11,000 was recovered.
Judy Mizen, who was driving a car behind the motorbike when the bag burst open, said: "It started off as a few notes, but the bag quickly started spewing huge chunks of money.
"At first we thought it was just paper, but then I said: "Oh my God, it's money!" It was like we had hit a wall of money."
Things only got worse for the motorcyclists, who were from the Isle of Wight. Their Kawasaki broke down two junctions further along the M3.
A police spokesman officers were investigating their story that they were carrying so much money because they were on their way to buy a car.

They had to carry cash instead of writing a check...because......???
Drug deal?
Their bike was running a little ragged and they were taking it to the shop.
The shop is really expensive, but doesn't take checks or VISA.
They needed gas & repair money along the way?
It's a long ride from the Isle of Wight to Phuket.
And don't forget the gas to get the car back home.
They were on their way to buy DAD a Father's Day gift?
