If he did this, he easily might not be aware of it. An 8 year old is hard to see and his foot is probably 1/3 the size of a speed bump. Seems to me that a 4000 lb car would have 1000 lbs on each wheel with about 8-10 sq in. of road contact on each tire or a pressure of about 100 psi.
This is not his first DUI though, he's been charged with several DUI's before and they were all dismissed and expunged by a judge at Municipal Court.
Also last year, he got into a wreck with someone, immediately drove off, and reported to his insurance company that he had "ran into a pole"
