Nevermind. I get it now, you were being clever...
WOW! You get the gold star for actually undertanding one of my jokes. It only happens about once a year because they are so "lame."
What's a moving ceiling decoration in a camping vehicle called in Alabama?
a mobile mobile Mobile mobile
Alright, alright... So I was slow. You don't have to rub it in...
It's not as dangerous as you'd think.
Compared to other cities equal to our size, particularly across the South, Mobile is fairly safe. We're not Jackson, we're not Birmingham, we're not Little Rock, we're not Youngstown for that matter.
Most of the really bad crime here is confined to certain parts of town, and admittedly, Prichard (our Compton) serves as a great buffer to keeping some crime out of the city limits
If he did this, he easily might not be aware of it. An 8 year old is hard to see and his foot is probably 1/3 the size of a speed bump. Further, the 8 year olds' parents may be looking for money from Thomas. What are the injuries from this accident. Seems to me that a 4000 lb car would have 1000 lbs on each wheel with about 8-10 sq in. of road contact on each tire or a pressure of about 100 psi.
This is not his first DUI though, he's been charged with several DUI's before and they were all dismissed and expunged by a judge at Municipal Court.
Also last year, he got into a wreck with someone, immediately drove off, and reported to his insurance company that he had "ran into a pole"
This guy does not need to be on the School Board, certainly doesn't need to be President.
