The media doesn't show images of 9-11 because people don't want to see them. Lots of people became zombies on 9-11. Even Laura Bush asked the media to stop show the endless clips of planes hitting the Towers. I can't completely blame people for not wanting to relive the nightmare.
Our current problem, as I see it, is that we've lost national unity and, yes, I blame the Left (though I also wish we had a Great Communicator in the Oval Office again.) Will showing images of 9-11 bring the Left back to its senses? I doubt it.
As I see it, the Left has deserted their country once again and we'll just have to get used to their sniping and yapping until the war is won (and if we have to win over their metaphorical dead bodies, then so be it).
Out of sight, out of mind. The images are hard to look at. Its hard to believe people can actually do that. Its easier to just treat it in the past, like a bad dream.
Well WAKE UP! IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!
Never Forget
(as a side note- President Bush is the great communicator. When the media saw this, they immediately scrubbed all images of the month of September in 2001.)
How do you think the cold massacre of 3,000 innocent citizens affected our country, let alone their families? Why do you feel all of the bitching by the liberals as to the club's torture techniques has any relevance to the level of anguish suffered by our country on 9/11? How many rescuers would permit you in the same room with them?
Or until we're hit again [God forbid].
