I didn't say that the only reason I dislike bank robbers is because bank robbery is illegal, whereas the anti-illegals are constantly saying that they like legal immigrants and only dislike illegal ones. The only difference is their legal status. In fact a person who is legal today may become illegal tomorrow when his visa expires.

When questioned further on why they dislike only the illegals ones they site reasons that apply equally to legal immigrants. For example the antis will say they dislike illegals because they speak Spanish. But legal immigrants speak Spanish also. So explain why you like legals but hate illegals?

The only difference is their legal status? That's the whole point, that there's a difference between legal and illegal! The day after a foreigner's visa expires, that person is now in the country illegally, meaning that they are now a lawbreaker. But for a person like you who scoffs at the law, the difference between legal and illegal apparently means nothing.

1. I hate no one.

2. I do not like illegals here for many reasons. You know what they are...among the most prominent is they DO take jobs from Americans. I know this to be true because see it all around me where I work.

3. By and large, they are tax cheats.

4. They suck up social services, thus increasing the burden on legal citizens and residents in the US.

5. By working here in the US illegally, they give scumbag tax cheat business owners a competitive edge over legit businesses owners

6. I do not like the FACT that they "cut to the front of the line" ahead of HONEST people who chose to emigrate here LEGALLY.

I could go on and on... but if you can't see that they do more harm than good, then you're a hopeless case.

That's not the issue. You're personalizing it for purely emotional reasons.

This is the issue: why do you favor trespass laws to protect your home, but you are opposed to border controls to protect your country?
