"It means that man now decides death - not a God determined end to life."

It is the mind which makes you- you. It's what your whole human concious is. The body is just a collection of organs which serves the mind. It's clear beyond any doubt now that Terri was taken by God for whatever reason in 1990. I don't worry about the organs. What I worry about is how it's determined. What this case amplifies is that all steps weren't taken to ensure that indeed Terri was long dead. It was determined she was AFTER the decision was made, not before. We have the ability to keep bodies 'Alive' long after the mind and spirit has long departed. Do we want to be warehousing bodies?

Really, so where in the Bible does God say it is the mind that makes the man. And not all of Terri's brain died 15 years ago, only some of it, so therefore seeing she still had some brain left technically she had some life left. I agree once the brain dies you are dead, but this was not the case with Terri.

You dang right we do.

-If you believe in the sanctity of life and that we are not given the right by God to kill - you do not make the decisions of when a person died. You wait until the breathing and heart stops and the body cannot be resuscitated

-If you do not accept that man has no business in the instigating death business, then you allow ALL MEN to be in control of whether you live or die. Do you really want corruption, greed, anger, hate, personal disregard for others making those decisions over you and your family?

-Experts have said after the autopsy that PVS can not be determined by all these tests and therefore they do not even know for sure Terri was PVS. It is an undeterminable state that is often wrong - so why kill over it?

-We have seen time and again people of no hope suddenly waking up. We have seen over and over that doctors are not 100% right.

Man does not have the right to instigate death in a non-dying person. We are seeing the dangers of men making these "life or not" decisions right here because "suddenly" we are talking about killing a non-dying woman when that has not been done before.

You know full well - the right to make "criteria" of when a person is dead will be abused because usually the people wanting to have that right want to use it for a reason.

And I do not intend to give them that right in the first place.
