I Finished reading Peter the Great a couple weeks ago, and now I am reading 1984, by George Orwell. Very wierd book. Next I am reading Monster by Frank Peretti.
1984 is a weird one, but a good read to be able to talk about.
1984 is a good book, but I don't think it's his best. I personally like his earlier novels, although they certainly don't have the bite that 1984 has. His essays and letters are really worth reading too.
If you like Perretti I highly recommend " The Visitation"
