Really? Nicole Brown Simpson's murder is being repeated over and over again as I type this? She was murdered right now? We can repeat her murder to determine who did it? Apparently nobody other than Nicole Brown Simpson, the other guy who got killed and the killer were present for the murder. According to you then, there's no possible way to determine who did it? After all, nobody was there to observe it (other than two people who now are dead and a killer who isn't going to tell us what happened) and give an account of what happened. We can't repeat it. Therefore, science can't help us determine who killed her. Therefore, the OJ jury made the right decision.
So I maintain if the Bible is only partially true, it is false. I believe the discipline of logic refers to a law of the excluded middle.
Logic does have a law of the excluded middle. This states that the disjunction of a proposition and its negative is a tautology. In simpler language, the statement "A or not A" is always true, no matter what A is. The Bible is not a single statement, but rather a collection of logically independent statements. It has the form "A, B, C, D, ..., and Z." The law of excluded middle certainly doesn't apply to the Bible, and the truth value of any given statement in the Bible doesn't logically follow from the truth value of any other given statement. (This just is application of the laws of logic. It doesn't take into account any kind of theological constructs. For example, the truth value of the statement Jesus died to save us from our sins is independent of the truth value of Jesus is the son of God, even though they are related theologically.)

Yes, it might have meant a spherical earth, however it would not imply supernatural knowledge even if it did. Knowing that the earth is round and suspended could just be the results of observation.
It doesn't matter if the church or science originally thought the earth was flat because that past knowledge does not impact current knowledge about the shape of the earth, nor does it impact the validity of religion and/or science.

She has over 90% of the same DNA in common. The Fossil record indicates that they both have the same common ancestor. And there are only two changes in the chromosomal structure between them.
But I guess maybe it would be easier for you to believe that someone you think is UGLY shares a common ancestor with an Ape, like say Michael Moore?

Actually Mylo is saying that the other apes and humans have a common ancestor or so (depending on which other ape we are discussing).
I suspect that males of our common ancestor just 'loved' to mate with the females of our common ancestor and considered them oh so 'hot'.
