Yep, I felt this one. It appears to be near the 7.2 earthquake that hit earlier this week. We Californians are used to earthquakes, but two shakers this close together in just a couple of days even gives me the heevie jeevies...

"Earthquake Magnitude 6.9 - OFF THE COAST OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA"

I've predicted it for years!

Everything East of the Rocky Mountains will one day slide into the Atlantic Ocean during one of these really big quakes!

Geologist Jim Berkland predicted a California quake (6 +) on or about June 22nd. Since then, we have had two large quakes off the coast of California. Oregon is getting the jitters with the recent tsunami warnings and reports about swarms of quakes (3 +) off the coast. Today is only June 17th.

Here is an earlier thread discussing earthquakes and quake predictions:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1423072/posts

There appears to be a confluence of events taking place that will result in more quakes off the coast. From the above thread, I indicated new quakes resulting from solar activity were possible:

Major Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the sun will hit our planet . . .

There was CME activity from the sun on June 14th. Look for auroras in the heavens tomorrow. Perhaps tomorrow there will be more earthquake activity in response to geomagnetic storms. Here is a 'movie' of the sun blasting a CME our way:

Some people believe that CME's may trigger earthquakes and tsunamis. There is no scientific proof of this theory yet. But statistical studies are being performed by scientists all over the world.

Again, today is only June 17th.

I don't know how you can sleep out there in California with all this recent activity.
I hope it settles down for you soon.
