When exactly was France's heyday?

Sometime before Napoleon's "invasion" of Russia and Waterloo.

wow so many issues to adress here, but ill stick with these two.

One is the comment about the "weak" American military, first of all we took out the most powerful military in the middle east in three weeks and we only used about 25% of our force, we did what the Soviets who "won WW2" couldnt in Afghanistan, and those hairdressers across the pond wouldn't EVER dare to attack to the US even if we voted in Nazis, which wont ever happen

The other comment is the one about us losing democracy, first just because the American people use common sense is not losing democracy, second, while i know he is way left, Senator Harry Reid from Nevada is proof that anyone can rise to power in American which is 99.9% impossible in any European country. Third if Im not mistaken America is the most free country in the world, go try to buy a rifle in France.

While I believe people like these are idiots, some can be helpful if they believe America will fall if they dont act to stop it, if they believe America will fall no matter what then they are just plain stupid. One last comment American can not be compared to any other country because it is like no other country is or has been

"When exactly was France's heyday?"

The Napoleonic Era.....circa 1790 to 1812-ish, before Napoleon decided to invade Mother Russia.......and the most recent period before that was under Louis XIV, the Sun King and his son, Louis XV in the 16th-17th centuries. So, you could say that it's been awhile since France was on top of the world, so to speak.

Thanks for your question.

Char :)
