I'm sure those Dems are just thrilled that Durbin's statement is taking attention away from them. They'll probably claim that the reason the "right wing is making a such a big deal out of Durbin" is to take attention away from their memo.

Probably. I think they've been caught off guard by the backlash his statements have caused and they haven't come up with a strategy on how to deal with it yet. Last night in the senate Reid was a joke.
