Dick Durban is on the floor of the senat again - restating what he said on the 14th. Blaming the right wing media. He just said he respects the troops - LOL! What an ass he is!!! He said what he said was not an insult to the troops.
They would probably disown any family member who voted for Bush.
Good grief, they're insane.
Why doesn't the NYTimes report what Durbin had to say?
I guess it's not news fit to print.
I had to turn the channel.
Well they didn't report on Stalin's atrocities when they were going on either.
The left is having a collective and very public nervous breakdown...
Well, at least the NYT is consistent. ;-)
As I recall their coverage of the holocaust also left something to be desired.
What holocaust? That's just a rumor started by right-wing fanatics. < / sarcasm >
I just clicked to the Downing St memogate dog and pony show, Joseph Wilson just got a rousing intro from Conyers.. lol
what a waste of time and energy.
Joe Wilson is testifying....and we all know how credible he is...
It's a neocon plot! /sarcasm
I'm sure those Dems are just thrilled that Durbin's statement is taking attention away from them.
Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) and Jumana Judeh, first vice-chair of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce.
Donna Harnett met with Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) during a U.S. House of Representatives hearing on President Bush's proposal to limit noneconomic damages in medical malpractice.
There is a systemic dem tactic that was perfected during the Clinton years that we must break. This is the tactic to refuse to apologize, back down, etc and ride it out. Our side never figured out how to defeat this slow drip-drip tactic. In years past politicians could not withstand the pressure. These liberal dems see that they can actually get away with anything if they just ride it out and keep repeating the lie.
I'm certainly no expert on tactics to overcome this. One tactic that comes to mind is a counter build-up momentum tactic whereby each day more pressure is brought to bear in an organized way. I realize that is already happening to a certain extent. The only recourse I see for this dem tactic is overwhelming force to the point where the media cant ignore the outrage. The Republicans, the friggin RINOs and some dems certainly could be united against a slur like this to take some sort of action to bring pressure on multiple fronts. One first step would be for a group of them to call a news conf and speak out against this outrage. A few spoke out in the Senate today, i.e. McConnell and Warner. More action is needed in larger numbers though.
That chick looks a lot like Suha Arafat.
It's sort of like leaning against the ropes and waiting for the bell to ring.
which one? The ugly one or the really ugly one?
And the White House, Newt Gingrich and Mel Martinez.
