Vermont Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie is being pulled in two directions by House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), who would like him to run for the House, and by Senate Republicans urging him to seek the seat being vacated by Sen. Jim Jeffords (I-Vt.).

Dubie is probably the only chance at beating Bernie Sanders, but I'd understand if he runs for the House.

Why can't they come up with a decent candidate for both races?
RINO Governor James Douglas wouldn't run against Sanders, that's why.
I think it's too soon to declare Sanders a shoo-in for the Senate. But it's gonna be a tough one, even if Dubie runs against him.
I want Sanders to win
