Now reading a letter from a mother whose son hung himself after returning from Iraq. I feel sorry for these parents, but what they are doing right now is giving encouragement to those who want to kill more American soldiers--and not just in Iraq.
That's the goal of these people. Tragic.
I feel sorry for these people, but for the grace of God go I.....but never, never would I disgrace my hubby or son's service...the chose the military and serve proudly...
I am sorry for her loss but NOONE forced her son to sign the papers to join. He knew the consequences when he joined up.
It is simply dreadful to lose a child for any reason, but these people seem, at least to me, to not be able to accept a decision THEIR child made and are looking for somebody, preferrably Bush, to blame.
IMO -- and ONLY my opinion -- as long as they hold on to this fury, they are doing a disservice to the honor their children paid this country.
They are dishonoring their children's lives. MOO.
