BOTH parents! Good! It's about time that smirky snooty mother of Joran was called out and made to tell the TRUTH about her rotten son.
For days you've all provided for some interesting reading, to say the least. For what it's worth, here's what I'm thinking:
Maybe Mr. and now Mrs. Van der Sloot are "being questioned" to give them a chance to come up with a plan for their son's future? Perhaps, they have been called in, told about what evidence has mounted, and have been told the scenario that the Aruban officials are in i.e., the issue of island tourism versus the future of a son of a pre-judge and friend. With all the government corruption down there, I can see how the lead investigators would pull in the parents to help them "think of something" to help take the focus off their son, but if the kid is into this neck-deep, Aruban hands are tied. Maybe this is preparing the parents for events to come very soon.
It is sickening to think that Aruban officials are more concerned with not wrecking the future of their friend's son and the Aruban economy than Mrs. Twitty's daughter.
